Enable indexing in Settings, pick an embedding model, and El-cro keeps the workspace index up to date as files change. Ignore rules and skipped-file reasons stay visible.

El-cro builds an incremental local semantic index so Agent can search by meaning, not only exact text. You choose the embedding provider; indexing stays on your machine unless you opt into a remote embedding endpoint.

Current boundary
Indexing improves retrieval for Agent. Coordinated cross-file Tab predictions and cloud-hosted mandatory indexes are not part of this release.
